Charles Carrin, D.D., has served the body of Christ for over 65 years. Educated at University of Georgia and Columbia Theological Seminary, he denied, in belief and practice, the contemporary ministry of the Holy Spirit until a personal crisis opened his eyes to what he had been missing. He is the author of Spirit-Empowered Theology (Chosen, 2017), The Edge Of Glory: Receiving the Power of the Holy Spirit (Creation House, 2002), Sunrise of David Sunset of Saul: A Message to the Church in the End-time (1985, 2014), On Whose Authority?: The Removal of Unwanted Scriptures (Burkhart Books, 2014), a revival novel with Dorothy Easley: Island in the Sun (Xulon, 2010), and a contributor to Word Spirit Power: What Happens When You Seek All God Has to Offer (Chosen, 2012) with R.T. Kendall and Jack Taylor. Today his ministry centers upon the visible demonstration of the Spirit and imparting of His gifts. Read his biography at www.charlescarrinministries.com/about-charles.php.

Miraculous Living: Coming to Christ in His Realm

Miraculous Living: Coming to Christ in His Realm

Like Peter’s failing attempt to walk on the water, many believers are trying to approach Jesus from the realm of intellect and knowledge. While we thank God for the mind and its ability, human wisdom is not enough. Man is a spiritual as well as a mental-being. To be genuinely equipped for life-in-the-Spirit, our experience […]

How Significant Are New Testament Manuscripts?

How Significant Are New Testament Manuscripts?

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.  I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at […]

God’s Remedy for Earth’s 7,000 Languages

God’s Remedy for Earth’s 7,000 Languages

Worldwide, more than 7,000 languages are spoken in 195 different countries (Genesis 11:7). Wonderfully, the Bible—or portions of it—has been translated into more than 3,000 of these tongues; in some form. Christians are found in most of the nationalities. They dress differently, speak a myriad of languages, and worship in their own cultural ways. Even […]

When God Tells You Only Part of the Facts

When God Tells You Only Part of the Facts

Most of us have been in situations where God was leading but when He did not give all the answers we needed. Key elements were missing. Perhaps He put a person in our life whom we later found unreliable and the relationship ended painfully. As pastors, He may have sent us to particular churches only […]

Celebration of Grace: What Christ Does for us in Baptism and Communion

Celebration of Grace: What Christ Does for us in Baptism and Communion

One of my earliest Christian memories goes back to the year 1935 when I was five years old and was standing on the edge of Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida. Our congregation, Little Flock Church, was holding a baptismal service and I was watching my mother and father wade into the water. A dozen others […]

What is Basic New Testament Doctrine?

What is Basic New Testament Doctrine?

Veteran Bible teacher Charles Carrin introduces the central doctrines of the Christian faith drawn from the New Testament.   The truth of Scripture can never be reduced to a few theological abstractions. Jesus said, “The words that I speak to you they are spirit and they are life” (John 6:63). Spirit and life can never […]

The Persecution of Christians Worldwide

The Persecution of Christians Worldwide

The top 10 countries on the list of persecutors are North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Maldives, Mali, Iran, Yemen, […]

Revival Falls on a Lonely Scottish Island

Revival Falls on a Lonely Scottish Island

One of the great visitations of the Holy Spirit in the past hundred years occurred in the 1950s on the extreme northern coast of Scotland under the preaching of Duncan Campbell. Though its effect was confined to a small area in the Hebrides Islands, the power that exploded upon the island of Berneray was identical […]

Grieving the Holy Spirit

Grieving the Holy Spirit

Relating to the Holy Spirit If we grieve the Holy Spirit He may become silent, imperceptible to us, and we will find ourselves seemingly abandoned to a frustrated and unspiritual state. It was in the apparent fear of this condition that David cried out, “Take not your Holy Spirit from me!” The scores of apathetic […]

God wants to unleash the life-changing, bondage-breaking power of the Holy Spirit in your life. Interview with Charles Carrin about his book Spirit-Empowered Theology

Interview with Charles Carrin about his book Spirit-Empowered Theology

PneumaReview.com: Why did you choose to write a book on theology? Charles Carrin: I had a specific God-instruction to write a “charismatic catechism” for the benefit of Spirit-filled believers who had no such resource. I began working and the book assumed the nature of a theological-treatise. There are 300 questions and answers on a progression […]

Captivity Of The Mind: Spiritually Understanding Abnormal Human Behavior

Captivity Of The Mind: Spiritually Understanding Abnormal Human Behavior

Recently I was in a South Florida home with a young man who had captured a wild hawk and in a short time had converted it into an obedient Falcon. At the sound of a whistle, the bird would fly from its perch, light on the man’s arm, take food offered it, and on command […]
