Philip’s Daughters

Barbara L. Cavaness’ “Leadership Attitudes and the Ministry of Single Women in Assembly of God Missions” reminds the reader that PC missions was spear-headed by a majority count of women. Ironically a woman missionary occasionally had more ecclesial authority on the mission field than back in North America. Cavaness is also optimistic that more opportunities for women will be opening among PC churches. She exhorts, “Prophets hear the sound of women marching—women God is raising up.”

Do you hear their footsteps in your church?
