Fall 2000: Other Significant Articles

“Stop Blaming the Devil!” by Liberty Savard. Charisma (July 2000), Pp. 108-115.

The conclusions of this article stand in significant contrast to the article by Maureen Eha that appeared just one issue prior in Charisma. This article introduces itself by saying, “Too many Christians today spend their energy fighting Satan when they should be humbling themselves before God. Have you focused your life on the enemy rather than on Christ?”

Find some great articles on practical ministry in these theme issues for church leaders:

Enrichment Spring 2000 offers a Family Ministry theme.

Leadership Winter 2000 challenges and guides you into preaching to today’s fragmented congregations in this “Wordcasting” issue.

Enrichment Summer 2000 focuses on Single Adult Ministry.

“Losing Our Promiscuity” by Paula Rinehart. Christianity Today (July 10, 2000). Pp. 32-39.

Rinehart says that the church has an unprecedented chance to reach a generation burned by commitment-free sex.
