That is all that the Bible without the action narrative is. I quit a cessationist church in 3d grade because it was BORING and, although a heathen myself, I had outgrown it. I really don’t know how cessationism survives. I have a Jewish friend who claims they are few in number vs. Christians because they “don’t have an end to their story” and we do. Cessationist’s story has ended, plain and simple, and then they wonder why they can’t get people in church.
