The extra weight and authority of the person with the prophetic calling allows them to clear their church, home, school or workplace of demonic strongholds and to hold that territory for the kingdom.
The insights of the prophetic gives extra insights to counsellors, teachers and preachers. Rev. John Sandford is an example of keys to prayer therapy obtained during ministry which then became tools for others when he put into teaching form.
The prophetic word, spoken with extra weight and authority, destroys strongholds. The word to Jeremiah was that it both built up and tore down nations. This sounds like victory. We need those words used with love and authority to get many out of defeat.
One example is breaking curses. Many Christians have been attacked by curses. They cannot find those with the insights needed to give them victory in this situation. Prophets you are needed. You wield more authority than you know. That is true of all in Christ – all Christians. May your tongue give life!
