Rather you have presented a refutation of the basic concept his book puts forth.

Additionally, your argumentation betrays that you don’t understand the cessationist position very well, especially the issue of the purpose of signs and wonders being performed in the apostolic age according to the biblical record. I recommend that you read up on that before continuing in the debate.
