Ernest Gentile: Your Sons and Daughters Shall Prophesy

One of the things that make this book enjoyable is that Gentile incorporates some contemporary examples of prophetic ministry into the book. These examples help to demonstrate the relevance and power of the gift of prophecy.

One section of the book that may be of particular interest to pastors, who are seeking to incorporate the prophetic into the life of their church, is the section dealing with protocol for handling prophetic words in church services. Gentile describes how a number of churches handle the screening and delivery of prophecy; he also offers counsel regarding the judging of prophetic words.

This book is a very rich resource. Those interested in an in-depth study of the gift of prophecy will find this book solidly biblical and well thought out.
