B. J. Oropeza: A Time to Laugh

Chapter 10 concludes this book with guidelines for how to discern a revival and warnings against both hyper-criticism and being undiscerning.

This 200 page paperback will be valuable to anyone studying the present revivals and renewals. The greatest drawback to the book is that it predates the Pensacola revival and therefore is only a limited look at renewal taking place in the church today. This study is still valuable in that it addresses some issues that are definitely being grappled with today, with many churches still choosing to embrace or criticize holy laughter and the movement associated with it.
